- Features -Extra-depth shoes (1pr) and inserts (3pr) supplied to qualifying patients with diabetes. Since 1993 Medicare Part B has provided partial reimbursement for the shoes and inserts once per calendar year. Medical experts agree that many amputations resulting from diabetes-related foot complications can be prevented by appropriate, properly fitting footwear. We work with three of the largest diabetic shoe vendors being Dr. Comfort, Anodyne, and Apex in order to be able to supply clients with the most shoe selections.
- Insurance Accepted - Medicare (Purchase)
- Documentation Required from Doctor - Rx written for "Diabetic Shoes" and include ICD-10 codes and length of need. Upon receipt, a Diabetic Shoe Order Form and Foot Exam Form will be faxed to the doctor for completion and signature.
